The Pack is organized and completely run by volunteers - busy parents, such as yourselves.  We each want an amazing experience for our children.  The Pack needs your help for our events and programming to go well.  We ask parents to complete a talent survey to help identify best match between capabilities and needs.  Needs include leading a den (small group of scouts), assisting with events (such as campouts, Rain Gutter Regatta, Pinewood Derby and Blue & Gold banquet) and running the pack (organizing events, website, communications, fundraising, ...).

Please email the Cubmaster at cubmaster3079@gmail.com with how you can help.  Many hands make light work.

Parenting challenges each of us.  Scouting can add an additional layer of complexity to teach skills for which we are not experts. Before self-doubt starts, please read this article written by a journalist, who considers himself, "the unlikeliest den leader of all" and how his Scouting experience enabled his son to "count those Cub Scout meetings among his fondest memories."  May you be encouraged to remain (or become) engaged and build our community to have similar experiences for you and your son or daughter.
